Top Michael Jackson Memorabilia and Souvenirs

Legendary pop star Michael Jackson has died from a cardiac arrest in Los Angeles. Michael is survived by three children _ Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr, Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince “Blanket” Michael Jackson II. The seventh of nine children, Jackson was born in Indiana before moving to LA with his family where he became the star of the Jackson 5.

His status as a musical superstar was cemented in 1982 after the release of “Thriller,” an album that generated seven top-10 hits with sales exceeding 41 million, the top-selling album of all time.

While performing his hit song “Billie Jean” on a television special, Jackson showed off what later became one of his signature dance moves – the moonwalk. The “Thriller” video, directed by John Landis, became an instant cult favorite, and is continually emulated.

Over the course of his career, however, Jackson’s personal life came under more and more scrutiny, most notably an obvious change in his skin color and strange appearances. Nonetheless, his death at only the age of 50 is a shock to anyone who ever enjoyed pop music.

Sounds Of The Universe – Depeche Mode

Sounds Of The Universe – Depeche Mode

“Sounds Of The Universe” is their 12th studio album, which Depeche Mode have already claimed to be one of their best.
A collaboration between Martin Gore and Dave Gahan, the album shares both their voices and songwriting skills.
Preceding the album is the new single “Wrong” – the first single, written by Martin Gore and produced by Ben Hillier.
Recorded in Santa Barbara and New York, Sounds Of The Universe reunites Depeche Mode with producer Ben Hillier (Blur, Doves, Elbow), who previously produced their 2005 album “Playing The Angel”, the first Mode album since 1984 to feature songs not written by Martin Gore.

Coldplay Viva La Vida

Coldplay Viva La Vida

To say there has been a lot of anticipation for Coldplay’s fourth album, Viva La Vida, is an understatement. Having enlisted legendary leftfield producer Brian Eno, borrowed their album title from a painting by renowned Mexican artist Frida Kahlo and made tantalising remarks about sonic reinvention, the world has been curious (to say the least) to hear what the ‘new’ Coldplay might sound like.

Viva La Vida definitely makes some departures from the band’s usual formula, which happens to be one of the most commercially successful rock-pop blueprints of recent years.
